Battlefield Bakery is situated at High Drumclog Farm, Strathaven, historically the site where the “Battle of Drumclog”, was fought and won by the Covenanters on the 1st June 1679. Established in 2014 by Stuart Anderson at the age of 20 his family converted an outbuilding into a manufacturing bakery unit where mother & Son team, Battle in the Bakery to produce a range of farmhouse style bread based products as well as biscuits, oatcakes and sweet treats. Using recipes handed down through generations, we will bring a true taste of the Scottish countryside to you – “Baking is in our Blood”
